I Loke You
I loke you,
I really do.
I much more than like you,
But I don’t love you yet.
I loke you.
The way you smile when you see me, makes my day
I won’t ever tell you how hard I try before we hang out to look good for you.
And I won’t tell you it means everything that you think I’m just as beautiful in sweatpants with no makeup.
When you call me gorgeous,
I can’t help but get so red.
And when you put your gentle arms around me,
and hold my hips as you give me a soft kiss,
my heart starts to pound like it’s just as happy as I am.
The first time I met you,
butterflies were going crazy in my tummy.
Usually those are supposed to gradually go away.
But you’re not the usual,
and you’re not going away.
I could never hurt you,
You’re too fragile to me.
All your flaws just make you oh so perfect for me.
Sometimes I have doubts about me being the only one,
Then I come back to reality and remember any girl would be crazy to turn you down,
I just so happen to be the luckiest girl in the world with the guy that doesn’t like the games, or any other girls.
The respect you give me is so pure,
and the things you tell me are so real.
It’s amazing to me how you manage to make me so happy and make my day.
Every day.
I loke that I can be myself around you,
and do all the weird things I usually do,
yet you are still so amazed to have me around.
I miss you the minute you leave my side.
All I want to do is turn back around and give you a big hug and tell you how wonderful you make me feel.
But then I couldn’t experience missing you.
I read you the first part of this poem, and you told me I could leave it like it is,
like it’s already perfect.
That just gives me all the more reason to tell this piece of paper just how amazing you are.
I would buy you all the snickers ice cream bars in the world,
as long as you buy me all the McDonalds I want.
Now,
I’m sitting here,
Writing down all my thoughts about how much I loke you.
And realized,
I love you.
