You dance above me
On scraggly silken strings
Soaring through snowstorms
On tattered cobweb wings
You are old as the sun
But younger than me
Dead as the night
Yet more alive than I can be
Meet me at the bottom
Where the world never ends
Drag me to infinity
Where the light never bends
And all of the stars
Are the night’s battle scars
In a place where time
Is void of the courage to begin.

I like it a lot. I think I understand the message (Trying to escape, get away from life, what have you ) But there's something missing. There isn't much background! you need something to take you away. Well, put more emphasis or suggestion as to what that something could be. I don't truly understand the first stanza either. :c
