Tell Her You Love Her
Tell her you love her.
Tell her you need her.
Because, deep down,
she needs to believe you.
Her heart is lonely.
Her mind goes blank.
Without you she's empty.
A porcelain slate.
You hurt her.
You broke her.
But she welcomes you
with open arms.
Afraid, and nervous
For you know you don't
have all her trust.
But you hold her heart.
Her heart screams "yes!"
Her mind argues "no!"
Her thoughts shout stop.
But her eyes say go.
Tell her you love her.
That's all she needs.
Anything for her.
A pain, now at ease...
