Dolls Stay On The Shelf

He took me to Havana
got me drunk
at the end of the night
he said it was a bet
but I didn’t care
we walked down Broadway
He proposed and 14 years
went buy before he set a date
he missed the wedding
for his crap game
my mother thinks we’ve been
married for ages with five kids
because I lied to her
Damn these Guys
for ruining a Doll’s life.
This is why
so many Doll's
stay in their boxes
on the shelf.
