No One To Hear Me
There's a forest
 I'm trapped in
 and branches are
 are pulling me down.
 Treetops are
 blocking the light
 and I can't see
 my way out.

 Thorns are
 slicing my body;
 The darkness is growing
 and taking over me.
 Where's the light
 to save me from this night?

 I cried out
 With no one to hear me,
 no one to save me,
 I reached out to
 nothing but dead leaves;
 There's no one around me:
 no one to help me,
 no one to cut me away from this agony;
 No one to hear me.

 The trees are
 haunting me,
 taunting me.
 Darkness is
 draining me.

 I'm lying in wait
 just yearning for
 the Sun to break through.

 I cried out,
 screaming for you
 to come and aid me.
 I reached out,
 hoping for your hand
 but there is air instead:
 no one to love me,
 no one to hold me,
 no one to tear me away from this cycle of pain;
 No one to hear me.
