my sharp edges

you'd never think that behind these eyes is fever
heat in my skull cracking the way i think into fire
that i can hold that in and not burn from the inside
you'd never know that behind this tight lipped smile is daggers
they crawl from my stomach to my eye lids
peircing me from the inside, in search of the way out
but i hold in the pain, and all my sharp edges
am i beneath this agony? the cause of this existance?
i am not aware, but i forgive.
i move on and inspight the terror that is me
i live
