A man can no more diminish God&#039;s glory by refusing to worship Him than a lunatic can put out the sun by scribbling the word, &#039;darkness&#039; on the walls of his cell.&quot; <br /> &quot;The world is not inherited from our ancestors. It is borrowed from our children&quot;

I live in a world
Where it only takes the touch of a button,
Where we make instant connections
Reach me

I live in a world
Where nothing is secret
Where I am vulnerable and yet, untouchable
Reach me

I live in a world
Where I can create
Where I can hurt, anonymously
Reach me

I live in a world
Where what I do counts for nothing
Where the important things are defined by you
Reach me

I live in a world
Where it matters more
How I look than how I act
Reach me

I live in a world
Where I can only look,
Where I cannot touch
Reach me

I live in a world
Where my friends talk constantly
About what matters to us,
Reach me

I live in a world
Where the important conversations
Throw convention out the window
Reach me

I live in a world
Where the most typed word is LOL
Where the most popular google search is Facebook
Reach me

I live in a world
Where the system doesn't work
Where I am helpless
Reach me

I live in a world
Where I am constantly learning
Where I learn online
Reach me

I live in a world
Where information is the answer
And I want to know …
So, teach me.

Now Cinderella don&#039;t you go to sleep, it&#039;s such a bitter form of refuge, oh don&#039;t you know the kingdom&#039;s under siege, and everbody needs you. - The Killers

I liked this poem it realy makes me think of this generation as kind of corrupt. P.S. whoever is doing that crap with rating it one star is probably one of the people who never leave their computer and spend all their time on facebook. Just ignore them... you have talent.

Check out my poem Sowing Poppies sometime?

Please could the person coming on almost every day and rating this one star either stop or tell me why you hate it so much? I'd like some feedback if it's really that bad, and if you are just being vindictive it would be nice if this stopped now. Thank you, The Writer
