Mistaken Mask
I almost had mistaken you for someone else
Someone you’re not
You were just hiding behind your made up you
The one that you want everyone to think that is so perfect and so special
But it’s almost more special to get the toy out of a cereal box
Then to stick around and be your puppet
You play me like an actress you really had me fooled
But take off your mask because I can see right through it
Face it the only one your fooling is you
