Sunshine and Roses
My days are always cloudy
 Covered by the rain
Cursed am I by this sadness I suffer every day
Sunshine strays through this stormy life
 Few and far between
Your smile illuminates the sorrowed clouds
 Masking all the pain
Some say a rose by any other name Would smell but as sweet
I say this rose should be renamed The joy you bring me
The sun shines on my rose
 Glowing brighter every day
Soon bright enough to wash away The rainy days that plague
A thousand daisies or even tiger lilies
 Couldn't compare to my rose
 He makes me happy
When all I want to do is die
 That infectious smile
 That obnoxious smile
Drags me out of my stupor
Helps me hold my head high again
