The green grass grows
As the water flows
peacefully on it's way
To a day much brighter
AS the sun falls away

The last licks of daylight
Kiss my skin
As the branches rustle
The wind blows fast
AS I go to count the passing clouds

Until the moon appears
And beckons my poor soul
My burdens, my wishes, my dreams
Gone with the clouds role
