I wasn't always
Her shadow.
When she sleeps I watch over her
and dream of kissing her luscious
beautiful lips
I get this wild look deep in the blue of my eyes
She doesn't know that i am her shadow
Her footsteps that bound through the dark of the hallway
I hide from her when she turns
She doesn't know...
She doesn't seem i'm there
Anywhere
To be seen
She is my self esteem
