I gave you my heart
And you left it to burn
You asked for forgiveness
On something you'll never learn

I gave you my soul
And you left it to die
You wanted redemption
On a simple lie

I gave you my mind
And you left it tumble
You wanted another chance
But it will only crumble

I gave you my life
And you left it stranded
You came to find
Where the debris landed

I gave you my love
And you left it in sin
You wanted it back
But you will never win
