I Wear White
I wear white to prove my innocence,
Black to show my sins
I wear bright and pretty colors
to symbolize
the hope that grows within.
And the tears that fall are clear,
To prove that I am human
The smile that I fake is to
Prove that I am strong
Every scar etched into my wrist,
Every tear upon my cheek
Evertime I cry out in pain,
It shows that I am weak
But I wear white for strength,
To lighten my broken heart
I wear bright and pretty colors
To cover up the scars.
