I dance in your cool embrace
I tip back my head to feel your touch
The ground is slick
With your discarded flesh
Others would slip
But I know you well
Such tricks do not work on me
Unless I want them to

Soon your bright brother
Will drive you away
And claim me
Until then, though
We continue to dance

Lol I also read this one earlier too :D. I really like the double meanings on this, you're such an amazing writer. 5/5

Whoa, it took me a bit to figure out that you were speaking of the rain, strangely enough. I think that's good :)

This poem feels so real. :) You conveyed the emotions really well.

First things first, but not necessarily in that order. ~ From Doctor Who

This is a pretty poem- I like the metaphor you used-'the ground is slick with your discarded flesh' I'd never thought about rain that way before.

Keep it up, I loved this!
