Dreams
You may say I'm a dreamer
To think that you and I could love each other so
To get so goddamn high on this drug that they call love
Its addiction took its hold
It took me by surprise
But made me much more bold
Made me dare to dream
That one day by my side
I'll have you standing there
Someone to confide
To tell all of my secrets
To speak all of my dreams
So that it may be known
So I can lift these beams holding me back
Pinning me down
I fear that I can't move
I fear that I might drown
And through all of this
One thing remains the same in this thing called life
I love you - and it's no shame
