Girls
Girlish looking things weave in and out momentarily
Catch a glimpse of yourself in the bathroom mirror
Strut past you in pink high heels
And a ruffly pink dress that grazes my kneecaps
Smooth and soft legs glisten with sweat
As the mid-afternoon heat shrivels around my
 Girlish looking figure
Smear some lipstick across my too pout lips
Brush some loose powder on my dainty face
Spray some perfume on my temples
Step outside into the girlish acting atmosphere
 Of a party
Boys dressed up in tuxes, tug at their collars
Release me, let me out of this!
My fingers itch at my bust line
Release me, let me out of this!
Surely, womanhood can't be this hard
Surely, girlish looking things can't be that hard
Weave my looks in and out for a short moment
Return to normalcy as I strut out in laced up
Converse and a fresh face with pure eyes
 Girlish looking girl
 Not for me
