Perfect Love
We all want a love like this
 Your fingers caress; they glide
 with such perfection
 I worry it won’t last -
 But the thought shoos away
As your embrace wraps around me,
As if it is a layer of protection -
 Impenetrable.
 Our fingers cross,
They are made for each other -
I can tell you’re thinking it, too.
 Your eyes dance around,
As if our pupils are doing a waltz.
 You’re merely a foot away,
But it feels as if you’re nations away.
 Love is silent –
 It speaks millions of words,
None can be expressed with voice.
Our simple interaction cannot be translated.
The heat is beyond the sun -
 Everything is perfect.
 I know this is love.
 I know you are love.
 A dream come true,
 A day of happiness,
 Love is joy
 You are joy
 Linger, just a bit longer,
 I yearn for you,
Just as you do for me.
 This is perfection,
 This is one thing -
 Love.
