speak.
Days of the past,
drift away.
As new beginnings,
are here to stay.
Laying in my bed,
with no words to say.
My voice is dry,
my throat, swelled up.
If I try it now,
I'm sure to mess up.
Stand at the window,
glance slowly up,
to a sky filled with wonder.
With mystery.
With hope.
Wonder of what is to come.
The mystery of what I've become.
And hope,
that i will, one day,
get the courage to speak up.
No longer be afraid,
of what is soon to come.
