Not Nearly Perfect
Here we go yet again
 Writing for nobody
 Not even a friend
 Because of me
 I write for nobody
 Somehow my fault
 For being human
 Why can’t they see?
 I’m not perfect
 And neither are they
 Lost in translation
 I’m a forgotten word
 Slipping yet another mind
 Of those supposedly perfect
 Them blind of their imperfections
 Like me to mine
 Attempts to fix myself
 To change for me
 I begin my journey
 With no destination
 But a difficult path
 The path is perfection
 With many winding roads
 I loose myself here
 Like the word
 Lost in translation
 Forgotten again
 Careless as I am
 I still know me
 And that is not perfect
 Not enough
 To know what I’m not
And work at what I am
 So I am sorry
 For I hold this knife
 Stained with your blood
 Standing behind you
 Like the human I am
 I am not perfect
 So please forgive me
