The last yellow flower
So lonely so small
It sits upon a hill
Camouflaged from all
In a sea of green grass
It withers away
The wind is so cruel
It twists and it bends
Right at the stem
Or the neck I suppose
Then it is winter
The cruelest of all
In the cold winter chill
It freezes inside
But this last little flower
Though it has died
Is a strong little fellow
Who never has cried
