Into the Wild
Tangled vines and branches entwine all around me
As my journey has just begun and I now walk into the wild
I have now isolated myself from the world
Getting my first taste of nature and spending my time soul searching
I take in the beauty of it all as I take this time to relax
I listen to the chirping of the birds, the crinkling of the leafs, and the whispers of the wind
At first I enjoy my time alone
I begin to learn a lot about my self
Then it becomes unbearable as I hear nothing
It's completely quiet, an empty quiet, neither relaxing nor enjoyable
I am forced to talk to myself as I have no one else
I am learning quick that if I lived this way I could not survive
I endure it for the hours I have to, but I could not live this way forever
I need to socialize with people
I now realize it is nice to have time to myself, but I can not survive alone
The time is finally up as I sigh with relief
I've done my time and I now walk out of the wild and back to civilization
