Sorrow
Sorrow is a broken storm,
Which falls upon us when our hearts shatter,
And die out.
Your whole world falls apart,
And you’re left alone to fend for yourself.
Sorrow is a broken storm.
The fire you once carried,
No longer pushes you on.
The pain and suffering,
Now become all that you are.
You look for a ray of sunshine,
And hope that rainbow will come soon.
Then, you put all hopes to rest,
And focus on keeping death away.
You cry and cry,
But nobody hears.
Destruction has long past,
But recovery has not arrived.
Sorrow is a broken storm.
