Untitled
All of this lifetime,
It passes me by
I see myself their eyes
This isn’t my time
They are begging
Why now, God?
Can’t you hear them?
Aren’t you there?
He who brought me to my eternal awakening
Now all I have is gone
It’s taken back
All I have left:
Blackness
The night gives it to me,
This numbness.
I see a light
Stretch my fingers out to it
I reach for it
And then it’s gone.
