I hate how every time he walks by
I have to remind you, my heart,
that it's rude to jump rope in my chest
I mean, it feels like I'm gonna explode
I know I'm a mess
But you're not making it easier for me
Calm down!
He doesn't even like me
Do you want to risk getting broken, my heart
Do you want to risk living in pain for a long time
If you say yes
well, that's coronary suicide
so, let's not take that risk

I love this so much! Sometimes it's hard to take a risk, especially for fear of your heart breaking. I love this, I'll say again. :)

This is my favorite poem you've written yet.. Of the ones I've read. This is sooooo well written! You have a great writing style, and this one really shows it. The line : I have to remind you, my heart, that it's rude to jump rope in my chest.
