"I lived to write, and wrote to live." ~Samuel Rogers

"I saw the best minds of my generation destroyed by madness"
They ran around, holding their heads
Futile attempts to hide their true genius

“Bow!” shrieked the faceless dictator

And the mindless geniuses bowed, their eyes blank and staring
They dug their own graves, singing in the black moonlight

“Bow!” shrieked the faceless dictator

And the mindless geniuses bowed, their foreheads to the ground
Machines, mechanical, definitely not human

A creature stirs in a far away cave
Spreads it’s wings and feeds off of monotony

“Bow!” shrieked the faceless dictator

And the mindless geniuses bowed, their hands laying useless at their sides
The creature landed amongst the machines
Crawled to the faceless dictator, opened jaws

“Bow!” shrieked the faceless dictator

The creature did not bow
The machines came to, three days of silence
"Pity this busy monster, manunkind."
