Everybody hurts
As if life is not enough
You feel like you’ve been handed the works
A snowball on a mountain top

But that’s life
It knocks you down
Picks you up
It’s the redeemer, the forgotten one

What you will choose
In everything you do
Comes down to what you will loose
In everything you knew

Faith, a funny word
Means a lot to one
A little to the absurd
Yet it remains a mystery and a curtain

A curtain for pain
A curtain for sorrow
It remains simply that
Until tomorrow

Tale what you want
Steal my pride
But everybody hurts
That’s life
