A Rose among Daisies
A Rose among Daisies
I don’t think of myself as different,
I think of myself as a Rose in a patch of Daisies,
Like everyone else, I’m uniquely beautiful,
A flower of my own kind,
Even being a different color,
I'm still the same within my petals,
I may sometimes have thorns,
But every one of us does, some are bigger than others,
We are all different sizes, shapes, and colors,
But we all belong in the same garden,
Like everyone on this earth,
I was planted and I grew, so why am I treated differently from the daisies,
Our petals and colors may be different,
But my stem shall remain tall and proud.
