You are my sister forever I know,
But how long does forever last?
Distance between us is driving us apart,
And forever is exceeded by a few hours.
The pictures on the wall show not a sister,
But a stranger I no longer know.
Who are you?
You're going somewhere I can't.
I won't let myself.
A bird cannot breathe underwater,
And I fear you are the fish of us.
How can you be so far away,
But the pain from you be so close?
Memories are not enough,
And you're too far away.
I can't remember you anymore.

this is about a good friend of mine who moved away and we've begun to drift away I feel.

i feel like im looseing my best friend not bc she moved away but we barley see each other and neaither one of has time to see each other and she is all i have left it hurts soo bad whe the one who put everything into is is slowly leaveing your side
