Mind Over Matter
Spit. It. Out.
 I get told a lot.
Words juggling around in my mouth.
 Spit. It. Out.
But I don't know what I'm trying to say.
 I want to scream.
 Yell.
 But I can't.
Because my mouth isn't forming what I'm thinking
No matter how hard I try.
And my body is rejecting any type of signal
 To show my feelings.

 I b**** at you?
 Ya wanna fight?
 I can't control my words.
 My mouth.
 My feelings.
 I don't want to scream,
 But I will.
 Spit. It. Out.
Are you sorry now I did.
 Cause I am.

And you'll tell me I'm wrong
Whether I say it or not cause that's what you do.
 I'm used to it.
 Just don't expect me
 To spit out respect.
