99 Days In Spanish Class
Ninety-nine numbers on the whiteboard,
and I cant pay attention at all -
you keep looking at me,
with those eyes and no expression
I wish you would speak -
I never know what you’re thinking
Ask me why I’m smiling?
Why do you stare?
All those girls who flirt with you,
do you care?
I hope not - I don’t like them at all
I’m ready to be out of here -
I’m ready for the bus
The ninety-nine words that come out of your mouth
they fly by me and stick to my skin -
get caught in my hair -
kiss me on the lips -
burn me,
like your fingers,
your warm big hand
There you go with those eyes again,
quit looking at me
I’m trying to do Spanish
