Summer
Summer is here, the birds are now calling
The trees, they play their soft-tuned odes
New earth is exposed to life warming sun
And the air is alive with warm fingers of breezes
Sun melts hard hearts, warms frozen limbs
'Til dripping and moving, now they can dance
A sigh of relief, the last chill expelled
Now bask in the light and the life of the world
