Listening
You talk and I listen
 It’s one in the same
Yet the important things are what you lock away
You ask if I trust you
 I say one hundred percent
 You told me the same
But yet as I listen to you now
 I know there’s something I missed
For if you trusted me I would have known how miserable you’ve been
How do I know this hasn’t been a lie?
Three weeks you didn’t tell me you thought you weren’t the guy
I guess some good has come from this
I realized how much I can care
 No matter what happens
There will be a spot in my heart for you
Even if it didn’t end up how we wanted it to
