Please?
Skinny little b----es,
putting you down,
making you think you’re something you’re not.
Fat is an ugly word.
Not something I’d use to describe you.
Not at all.
Do you know what you are?
I don’t think so.
Maybe I don’t even know.
You’re not what’s in the toilet though,
you’re not what comes up after you eat.
I wish you’d just swallow it down,
swallow your pride and your food,
then be able to smile about it.
Smile like you mean it.
Show your teeth, even if they are a bit yellowed from the you-know-what.
Be happy,
with a full stomach,
knowing that you’re pretty.
Knowing that the sunlight always seems to catch your eyes the right way,
makes them sparkle with life that I could only wish for.
Don’t lose that sparkle.
Don’t lose it.
Please?
