He who whispers peace
To the world at war.
He who sees beauty
In barren landscapes.
Wherever you are is home to me.
He who feels too deeply
Too strongly, too veraciously
He who sees me as the only star
In infinity’s galaxies.
You have come home
When you see me
She who can see through
Your broken smile
And know your truths
Before you do yourself.
I am home to you.
She with sunlight in her hair
And a touch that takes you away
You whisper,
“Never change
For I am lost without you
You are my compass
My life preserver
My home.”
