First Year of College
My four years of high school sure were a blast,
It was so laid back and it ended so fast.
I didn’t have much homework at the start
But as my senior year came it got kind of hard.
Here it is four years later here in a flash,
I’m about to graduate soon with my senior class.
It’s time to get ready to be out on my own,
But I still feel like a little kid that’s not yet full grown.
Soon I’ll have to do my own laundry and cook,
I’ll even have to make myself read all of my books.
Studying will be a very important factor,
I can’t get distracted or I’ll regret it soon after.
Meet new people and make new friends,
These will be the people there for you till’ the end.
Join many clubs and be sure to stay involved,
But most definitely don’t leave things unresolved.
