It will never be home.
How I long to go back,
back to the ocean,
back to waking up to seagulls,
hearing the ocean on the rocks.
How I would love to wake up and
smell the ocean once again
but now I wake up to cars zooming by. the smell of gas and screaming kids. The sound of the city. well a small one at lest. But this is my town the place that I live. It's where I have grown, and I wouldn't trade it in. Yes I long for the peace and wish for the calm but it will never be home like the zoom of the cars.
