Favorite Quote:
Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. And when you look into an abyss, the abyss also looks into you." -Friedrich Nietzsche

Encircle my palm,
Your fingers guiding mine
To lace with yours.
One hand on my waist,
Guide me solely to
Embrace myself soulfully.
Here we are, dear
Frank keeps the pace
And we glimmer in tune
To this slow, gel like music.
My black dress, your
Sharp suit.
Baby, we are a knock out.
How old fashioned are we?
Not all too much.
See, dancing in a ballroom
All alone to the
Sinatra in our cores,
You and I are classy.
We probably could have
Been even more romantic
Than red wine, but then you
Licked me on the cheek so I
Would not forget that
It was you.

The author's comments:
I had a dream and it was perfect. Frank Sinatra, a black dress and suit, romantic evening streaming out of everything. The beauty of the dream, though, is the lick. The lick brings us back to reality, which is imperfect, but you have to love it all the same.
