Windowpane
since I am hiding
you do not see me here
alone
unwanted they slide toward the ground
unlike your own
softer than rain
maybe it would be fitting
if it started now to hit the windowpane
until we meet again
it is a long time
maybe I cannot show the world this song
about how you are dear to me
they say it is not the time
and so do I
but somehow….
my heart has betrayed me
so the darkness outside hides me once more
as another drop of rain falls down
I just keep practicing how I will force myself
to smile
if it is reality
when we say farewell
