Drowning
I cry myself to sleep at night, wanting to be in your arms, you’re so close but yet so far. I remember we used to stay up and look at the stars, and now I’m up looking at gray skies, baby now I stay up drowning in my own tears. It’s like the pain is nonstop. I just want you to come back and put my love on top. If I had one more day with you, I know exactly what we would do. I love how we can talk with our eyes, and do nothing but still have a good time. I’ll be waiting till we can see each other again and that day will be the day I fight the tears and swim.
