The Shedding of Tears
Those that look at girls never know
How are they so solemn yet so happy
Behind that happy joyful face is tears
A line of never ending tears that shred through a face so full of glee
No one would expect it
That,that girl goes home and cries and cries until she falls asleep
No one can see that girl who doesnt sleep but stares at her wall endlessly looking for answers
No one would expect that a girl so brilliantly lit up would do these things..
Until that time when you find her, sitting alone, on her porch, crying
You try to comfort her but she can't be comforted
You try to soothe her but she will not respond
You try to help her but she will not be helped..
What then? What shall you do? But watch..
A never-ending stream of sadness..
That develops and fountains into an ocean upon which one can not soak up with a pillow or a blanket
But can hold it into oneself.. And perish with the thousands of others among her...
