A million faces

We move beyond
cars and trucks,
all of the drivers
faceless people...
I have to wonder,
if I had the chance
would I try to know them?
If I had the chance
would I reach out a hand
to caress a bruised heart?
Would I smooth one'e wrinkled
brow and calm one's
racing mind?
Would I place a face
on all these
facless people?
