He works in wondrous ways
The God she speaks about,
He performs miracles
And leaves her shouting out
“Halleluiah, Amen
My Lord
Is truly great,
He gives me what I need
And never takes away,
He hears my cry
And wipes away the tears,
He hears the prayers I whisper
And always make them true”,
He works in wondrous ways
The God she speaks about
He loves her,
He keeps her,
He is always there throughout
The good times,
The bad times,
Making me wanting to envy,
He Guides her with his hand
And shows her the right path,
He loves her
She loves him
And never ever fails,
To thank him for
the miracles she’s seen
In all of her years,
She worships him
And always finds, the time to pray
Whenever he has done his charm,
“Thank you God” she says
“Thank you so much
For watching over me
Thank you so much
For actually loving me”
Her God – The -God
she always talks about
Is powerful yet lenient
And loving but hard,
“He works in wondrous ways
Her Eternal Father
Lord Jesus” she says,
Then looks to heavens
And smiles a wide smile,
Her Lord Jesus Christ
Truly is great,
“For what reason”
I asked
“Do you think he is truly grand”
Because she replied
“He has blessed me with his hands”
And as I stand there wondering
With every inch of curiosity,
She smiles and looks up to me
“He works in wondrous ways”
