Under the waves
under troubled satin waters
are butterfly filled skies of diamonds
watching as the world rotates
and a girl with kaleidoscope eyes
and eyelashes
is standing in a rose colored doorway
and laughing, at the
butterfly filled skies of diamonds
shimmering and shining in blue light
dancing on the plains of green light
with the girl with kaleidoscope eyes
her eyelashes swing in the rose
colored doorway
running up vertical walls
laughing and singing and watching
the girl with kaleidoscope eyes

The author's comments:
I wrote this years ago, some time after I first watched Across the Universe. The Beatles were playing in my head, and Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds had some influence.
