Steam rises and fog settles
I wish, instead of beauty,
your smiles felt like nettles.
But no, you care to the point where I’m unsettled
and the top goes to the bottom
and the bottom rises up

I turn the city lights off
and stop thinking about you.

I liked this a lot! Made me wonder what you were thinking about when you wrote it. I especially liked the ending!
