My Piano
When I have to escape,
When I have to let loose,
When I have to express what I feel,
 I go to my piano.
I let my fingers dance across the keyboard,
I let my emotions run free,
With the smooth sound of the notes that play.
 I don't care who listens,
 I don't care who sees,
I'm in a whole other world,
 Where nothing matters.
 And all I hear,
 Are the sounds of music,
 Winding through my ears,
 Creating peace within my mind,
Paving the escape route before me.
 I never want to leave,
But when the song comes to a close,
 I have to re-enter reality.
 But I'll be back,
 To find my escape,
 To find my peace,
 To find my piano.
