All I can surmise.
The night beckons me early this time of year.
I am leaving quickly, you have much to fear.
I apologize that my duties leave you broken hearted, its simply a part of me and I must finish what I started.
My discrepancies are numerous and I am only to blame.
Once I leave this wretched place ill be free of my chains. Hark, listen, i hear my courage bow.
The spring is coming and new ground must be plowed.
We cultivated our crops until their fruits would yeald no more.
Our lot is becoming barren, we need to see what else is in store.
My motives are vindictive, and often leave you suppressed.
Though when I consider my time with you I feel incalculably blessed.
I am in love with you, and will always be, you were a vital part of my growth.
You are essential to my living, I believe everything you spoke.
I know I will hurt you, thats an inevitability.
I know all too well that it will debase my credibility.
But I accept that with humility, the consequences of my actions.
Though I will never own up to my questionable transactions.
Lets both make this honorable, your slow and compromising demise.
Perhaps we never should have started, that's all I can surmise.
