Recipe for Good Writing
Preheat the brain’s oven to 325 degrees

Pipe a rope border around your scattered thoughts

While new ideas sizzle on the hot griddle

Allow the slushy consistency to simmer

Until it has been brought to a boil

 Assemble with gingersnap nouns

 Caramelize with butterscotch adjectives

 Fold verbs in whipped topping

 Spoon adverbs in warm vanilla

Brush with butter, noodles of laughter

Glaze under-ripe tragedies in marmalade, jelly-roll style

Invert the blueberry structure in berry blue drizzle

Garnish with a grammar frittata, and

The poem should round out nicely
