In the darkness,
from which we were bred
came with the sentimental forms of destruction,
which in some ways
nurtured the upholstery of honor,
but for most only tore down the brigade of simple cruelness.

To grow,
within a sheltered domain
of security and self-assurance,
brought only the missing link of our undisciplined minds
which stands to treason
our most common man of nature.

From ignorance,
we ignored
the tell-tale signs,
of our destruction for things unlike ourselves
to advance in forward motion
our only sacrifice
to which they substrate in only kindness for our affair.

Seeing history,
the human race has repeated
its downfall of a Great more than once,
with the things we take for granted
to be the winner of the bet
as the original beasts stand far above our miniscule understandings.

Its normal,
to have odd acts of harsh cruelties
from periodical moments of our life,
though the ones we take it out on
are the innocent victims
that have to sow what we weep
to fix our unbalanced, inhumane way of living.
