The future seems bleak and far
I can no longer grasp my senses
Reality is fading away
As I lay down in a pool of darkness
Solely created for me
I looked back and thought what could have been done
What could I have done to prevent all of this?
As I continue to ponder with these thoughts
In my own shattered world
I felt HER
Her footsteps coming closer
Getting louder
A strong presence that I once felt so long ago
Lingering again
Seething through my mind and my heart
She gazed through my eyes
And I have found my answer
