I Am Poem
I am from musty dirt
Where everyone feels the same
Where kids from various ages
Come for one enjoyment
I am from the learning
How to
Ride, tack, and clean
Smelling the dirt aroma
Made me feel like I was home
From being in last place
With the thought that this
Was just not my day
To the Grand Champion position
Where I know I show
Those kids that I am a
Rock star
Thinking that when I
Climb on that horse
I know I could come down
In just one second and my riding
Career could be over
But, that is my sport
My sport teaches you
How to be responsible, to be
Courageous, Spontaneous,
And most of all to be Happy
Horseback Riding
The sport that does not only teach you
How to ride but teaches you
That the power is within the horse
But, you have the power to guide that
Horse to whatever you want to achieve
